Guy Sturt was project manager and Landscape Architect with LDI international for two years on the Denarau Island project. From preparation of the brief through design, documentation and construction, the $14 million of landscape works included a golf course, condominiums, a marina and three hotels. Incorporating the Regent of Fiji and Sheraton Hotels, stage one included the golf course, five star hotel, one hectare lagoon with beaches, cascade and pools; along with pool bars and foreshore facilities. Completed in an environment not geared for major construction, works included construction of a site nursery.
