The Lalor Park Childcare Centre playground upgrade for Blacktown Council creates a varied & stimulating play environment. Designed in conjunction with Duke Albada, the playground triggers the imagination & is adventurous and tactile. Artwork is integrated in a harmonious way incorporating educational and whimsical notions. Walls were rendered, new sandpits, shade structures and a mural installed. A naturalistic play area incorporates a boulder river course, digging patch and mosaic tiled water play area, along with a sculptural concrete water trough. Shade trees and ornamental plants further enhance the amenity of the playground.
