The brief was to create a modern courtyard that flowed seamlessly from inside to out; a strong statement to match the architecture, low maintenance, water features and an entertaining area with barbecue. Each room is provided with its own area, with personal seats for the bedrooms. In the enclosed courtyard, the water trough drums out inner city street noise. Planters with Jasmine, Honey Locust, Weeping Fig, Bird of Paradise and Japanese Maple create a lush garden with seasonal change, transforming this lifeless courtyard into a lush haven; modern, functional and stylish.
