Surveyor's Creek

The bush regeneration and revegetation for West Surveyors Creek corridor at Glenmore Park needed to consider the high ecological significance of the remnant Grey Box-Ironbark Woodland community; provide habitat for the large land snail, a threatened species and act as “stepping stone reserve” from Mulgoa Nature Reserve to Blue Hills Wetlands. Bio-engineering works to a relocated creek channel and channel batters, include rockwork, soil logs and recycled felled trees for soil stabilisation and habitat creation. Seed collection and sourcing of indigenous species was co-ordinated and plants contract grown.
